I am currently working with Central Iowa Shelter Services – it has been a humbling experience. I am also the incoming chair for the West Des Moines Community Schools Foundation and a long-time board member for the Brenton Arboretum. (Education and Nature – see above.)
Idea of perfect happiness
Making dinner, while sipping on a glass of wine, then enjoying the meal with people who are not afraid to speak their truths.
Favorite way to spend free time
Sunday nights are chocolate chip cookie night at the Hadden house
Something we might not know about you
My mother and I continued to raise cattle on the farm after my dad passed away. It is where I learned the importance of getting the job done and if you sing with the windows down it makes every task easier!
