This luncheon is being offered as a hybrid event, meaning there will be an option to attend in-person, as well as an option to attend virtually via a Zoom meeting link.
In-person registration will be limited to a maximum of 40 people, which amounts to 40% of the venue capacity. Tables that typically seat up to 10 people will be allowed no more than 4 per table. Lunches will individually bagged and labeled with participant’s name based on registration selections. We ask that attendees wear a mask when not eating or drinking. We appreciate cooperation with these measures, put in place to make sure all CREW member's comfort levels are accommodated.

Speaker Bio Kathryn Kunert is a native of Mason City, Iowa and graduated from UNI with a bachelor’s in public administration. In 1996, she joined MidAmerican Energy Company in the government affairs department as a legislative grassroots coordinator. During her career, she has had the opportunity to develop and gain additional responsibilities in both government affairs, community relations and economic development. Currently, Kunert is the vice president, economic connections and integration which includes managing key accounts, business accounts, business and community development, energy efficiency, franchises, sponsorships and donations, and special projects.
In addition to serving on a number of boards and committees, Kathryn is a graduate of the Greater Des Moines Leadership Institute, a Forty Under 40 class member of 2003, graduate of the FBI Citizens Academy in 2014 and named a Woman of Influence by the Business Record in 2015 and was also named the Forty Under 40 alumnus of the year in 2019.
